We are staying in Byrn Mawr Resort
a very nice resort right on the beach.
After a good nights sleep, morning coffee and a morning walk on the beach
in much warmer weather, about 70 degrees
It was time to head out for a day of history.
First stop was the St Augustine Lighthouse
We had a behind the scene tour, with a very informative history lesson,
And a climb to the top of the lighthouse.....121 steps.
The perfect place to see the city.
Next stop was the St Augustine Bastion. Amazing structure.
As we strolled down cobblestone streets we visited many unique shops.
Then it was time for dinner.
We celebrated Valentines a Day later and I might add
it was well worth the wait !
